Always chose a weaker but even effect over an uneven but stronger one.I left it on longer than per instruction. ![]() If you didn't buy enough and are unsure if it will cover your whole hair, slightly dampen your hair to allow for better spread.This will diminish the effect BUT you will get an even effect. Don't skimp on it or your result will be uneven because it needs to be applied to DRY hair. You could almost see my natural hair color shine through in some spots.There is still a lot of red on the lengths, escpecially on the tips but that's not surprising after years of build up.I needed to use almost 2 packs for my close to waist lenght fine but full hair. So I had A LOT of build up and my hair darkened from a light, still somewhat blondish copper to an auburn red.After the first session it already lightened the color considerably and went from the auburn red back to a much lighter reddish copper with the roots (which only got one Henna treatment 2 weeks before) closer to a light strawberry blonde. Color Oops works miracles when trying to strip your hair of Henna.I have dyed my medium ash blonde hair with pure, red Henna (by far the most difficult to remove) for around 6 years, giving my hair a full Henna treatment every 4-6 weeks but not doing anything else (like bleaching) to it. ![]()
